Nhlamulo Christopher Shirinda, the Group CEO, is a seasoned leader with a profound commitment to both teaching and learning from his team. A recent cum laude graduate from Stellenbosch Business School with a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management, Nhlamulo has helmed the company since its inception in 2008, navigating it through various challenges over the past 16 years. His extensive experience spans 16 years in project management, where he has overseen the entire lifecycle of construction projects, from earthworks to handover, managing both small and large-scale ventures.
Nhlamulo’s educational background is complemented by further studies, including the Fundamentals of Project Management and the Management Advanced Program at the University of the Witwatersrand, along with courses in Financial Management at the University of Cape Town and Entrepreneurship at GIBS, University of Pretoria. As a Registered Project Management Professional (PMP®), he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in Business and Project Management, bolstered by his experience at Anglo American Pty Ltd and NHBRC. Nhlamulo’s role as CEO involves providing strategic leadership, guiding the company towards its goals, and ensuring operational excellence across all levels.

Phumzile Maluleke, a Qualified Quantity Surveyor with over 12 years of experience in Quantity Surveying and Project Management, serves as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the construction company. In this role, Phumzile oversees the daily operations, ensuring that all projects are executed efficiently, within budget, and in compliance with industry regulations. As a key member of the executive team, Phumzile collaborates with the CEO to develop and implement strategic plans aimed at operational excellence and organizational growth. The COO is responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance, managing budgets, and mitigating risks across all projects. Phumzile leads the operations team with a focus on fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement while maintaining strong client relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction and repeat business. Additionally, Phumzile drives innovation in construction processes, embracing new technologies and methodologies to enhance productivity and quality. With a strong background in construction management, Phumzile is committed to delivering successful outcomes and advancing the company’s strategic goals.
Keneilwe Motaung
Operations Manager

With extensive experience in project administration, she has developed expertise in managing processes from bid submissions to project facilitation and successful completion.
As the Office Operations Manager, Keneilwe plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless execution of the company’s operations and projects. Her responsibilities encompass streamlining administrative processes, coordinating project logistics, and maintaining efficient office management systems that support the organization’s goals.
Keneilwe is also deeply committed to compliance, ensuring that all company operations and projects adhere to industry regulations, safety standards, and legal requirements. In addition, she actively contributes to human resources management, where she supports talent acquisition, employee development, and retention strategies.
Her multifaceted role underscores her dedication to driving organizational success, fostering a culture of excellence, and maintaining the highest standards of compliance in the construction sector.
Reagant Malabile
Head of Projects

Reagant Malabile serves as the Head of Projects at Hillpet (Pty) Ltd, bringing with him a wealth of experience in project management and construction oversight. In his role, Reagant is responsible for overseeing all company projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. His leadership in managing project expenditures, setting delivery timelines, and monitoring progress is critical to the success of Hillpet’s operations. Reagant works closely with the Project Managers under his supervision, providing guidance and resolving any issues that may arise on site, including those involving business forums and community stakeholders.
His responsibilities also include handling site claims, Extensions of Time (EOTs), and ensuring that all project scopes and construction drawings are implemented accurately. With a strong background in managing subcontractors and resolving conflicts, Reagant ensures that construction productivity remains high and that all work is completed in compliance with safety standards. His role extends to preparing necessary project documentation, such as progress reports and cash flow projections, which are essential for maintaining transparency and accountability within the project lifecycle. Reagant’s experience with community forums and his ability to maintain strong communication with clients and the project team make him a pivotal figure in ensuring the successful delivery of Hillpet’s projects. His strategic oversight and commitment to excellence align with Hillpet’s vision of delivering high-quality projects that meet and exceed client expectations.
Vhahangwele Khangale
Senior Architect

Vhahangwele Khangale, the Senior Architect, is a Professional Architectural Technologist with extensive experience as an Architectural lead, Space Planner, Engineering Manager and as a Project Manager with skills on AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD and Microsoft Project amongst others. His completed project types include office blocks,space planning, workshops, commercial buildings, residential housing, cluster housing developments, substations, relay rooms, rail related depots and facilities.

Ditebogo Makgato is the Executive Personal Assistant to the Director of Hillpet (Pty) Ltd, Mr. Nhlamulo Christopher Shirinda. With a Diploma in Operations Management from Cape Peninsula University of Technology and a Btech in Management Services, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. In her capacity as an Executive Personal Assistant, Ditebogo plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Director’s office. She is responsible for managing Mr. Shirinda’s schedule with precision, coordinating high-level meetings, and handling logistics, including travel arrangements and event planning. Her keen organizational skills and attention to detail allow her to anticipate the needs of the Director, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently, and deadlines are consistently met. Ditebogo’s educational background equips her with a strong foundation in operational efficiency and strategic management, enabling her to contribute significantly to the preparation of reports, presentations, and high- level documents.
